Kayla's 2021 Thanksgiving Message

Before I sat down to write this message, I took a pause to think about what I was truly grateful for. All the usual stuff came to mind - I'm thankful for my family, for my health, for having a place to live. Things that I am thankful for all the time. I pushed myself to think deeper about the last year, but I kept coming back to those three things that matter most to me; family, health, and shelter.

Last Thanksgiving, I reminisced about holidays past where I was rushing, frantic and frazzled, to Friendsgiving's, gift exchanges, and holiday parties galore. Now, I’m anxiously waiting for the mad rush of get-togethers with friends and family to begin, finding cheer in the wonderfully beautiful chaos.

Gratitude for More

It has always struck me that we only dedicate one day a year to be thankful. This year, instead of being thankful for those three things I cherish so dearly, I'm making a consorted effort to be grateful for more. The little things and the big things that give my life meaning and purpose. First, there is my never-ending lists of tasks that keeps Bundle innovative and moving forward. Then, all the emails and Teams messages shows that my colleagues are engaged and communicative. Finally, the video conferences, who could forget those, that shows that my team is eager to connect face-to-face, even while working remote.

I’m grateful to be a part of a team that’s dedicated not only to the Bundle mission of supporting all employees no matter where or how they work, but passionate about helping each other as well. I appreciate Bundle’s culture that looks for opportunities to raise each other up—strong people helping other people get stronger. I am thankful that we all value the concept that the one is only as successful as the whole of its people, and the Bundle team is constantly amazing me with their drive, dedication, and willingness to support each other.

Our world- and workplace- is undergoing huge changes, reimagining the future of work and transforming the workspace to better support people. I am grateful every day that I get to be a part of this evolution. Every time an employee schedules a session with Bundle, whether it’s for themselves, their family members, or their work team, they are able to see a glimpse of what the future holds, knowing their employer supports them and wants them to be their best at home and at work.

Some things haven’t changed. We still wear masks everywhere, and threats of the Delta variant have caused the world to push certain milestones and events again and again. I still occasionally find comfort in my favorite pint of Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough and a pair of well-worn sweatpants. I guess old habits really do die hard!

Thank You From the Bundle Team

I know I speak for the entire Bundle team when I share my sincere gratitude for all the employees we have been able to help through the good and the bad. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives, allowing us to be a difference, and being a part of our Bundle Family. On behalf of the entire Bundle team, we wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
