In what feels like a past life, I went into an office every day. I packed a sad lunch to eat at my desk, and would stare wistfully out the window, wishing I had more flexibility in my schedule. Since March 2020, I’ve been one of the millions of people working from home. My office is no longer a freezing, impersonal cubicle, but my very own home. I never thought that my business casual attire would be a rotating schedule of sweatpants, nor did I think my 2 p.m. meeting would take place from the luxury of my couch.

The physical workplace isn’t the only thing that has changed in the past year and a half. Employees are no longer willing to settle for less, and are looking for more from their careers than just a paycheck. This mass exit, deemed the “Great Resignation,” has many organizations struggling to recruit and retain top talent. Gallup estimates that 48% of U.S. workers across industries are actively looking for other job opportunities, and 3.9 million employees quit their jobs in June alone.

Employers are struggling to find a solution to keep the talent they have and recruit the top. While there isn’t a one-size fits all answer, companies need to taking a look at their benefits, culture, and the overall employee experience—stepping up if they want to be competitive and an employer of choice.

Benefits for everyone!

Employees are looking for more than just a paycheck - they want to know their company supports them and treats them like people, not just a worker. Show employees you care by offering modern and of-the-moment benefits. Better yet, ask your employees what kinds of benefits they would like to have! This will show them that you not only care about their experience, but that you value their input too. Bundle has sessions for all employees, not matter their needs. From working parents to those taking care of elderly loved ones to individual employees looking to learn a new skill, we can help you support all your team members.

Culture chameleon.

It’s not just benefits that can make a difference. A company culture that supports each employee is important too. Make sure every employee feels comfortable bringing their whole self to work. When employees feel like they belong, their sense of purpose at the company skyrockets, leading to great employee wellbeing and productivity. Meaningful, impactful diversity and inclusion sessions can help encourage this. Live and interactive sessions that expand knowledge and build a culture that is accepting and welcoming of all are available with Bundle, we can even help your workplace tackle a specific problem to create an inclusive environment.

Make it virtual.

Freeze frames and dropped WiFi are as common these days as company lunches and office parties used to be. Connecting workforces that are hybrid or entirely remote to improve employee experience can be challenging, especially with new employees who may have never met their co-workers in person. With Bundle, you can schedule interactive, virtual events for your work team to keep them engaged and encourage bonding and relationships. This is especially important for those who started at your company during the pandemic. From professional development to health and wellness, Bundle has a session for you. If you’re just looking to kick back and have fun with your colleagues, we’ve got you covered. From virtual escape rooms to trivia, bonding with your teammates has never been easier.
